Food was really delicious, and I was caught off guard finding myself impressed with the sides of all things. The cauliflower cake was crispy and divine, all our protein options were delicious as well. At the time of my review most cocktails are $12-16 and dinner options are 18-25 on the low end and 35-50 on the high end.
Keegan our waiter was friendly/awesome, and compliments to the chef.
I loved it. My crab and clam chowder and soul were fabulous. I was expecting a mediocre hotel restaurant and got a great experience and fantastic service.
If you stay here grab a meal here. The dining room is elegant and attractive. Care is taken in the food. Five stars all around.
To be honest, I was slightly offended by the pricing at this restaurant. It is a hotel restaurant, and I can't say that the ambiance is amazing or anything like that. That said, it is convenient if you are staying at the Marriott, the service was good, and the food - at least the food that I had, was really delicious.
I started with the clam and crab chowder, which was creamy and had a great flavor. I then had the king salmon in beurre blanc, which was really delicious. It could be that as someone who lives in the Southeast, I just don't have the opportunity to eat king salmon a lot, but about the fish itself and the way it was prepared was top notch. If you're staying here and you don't have a car or you're just feeling lazy, I would recommend this restaurant. I actually thought of Ubering due to the price of the restaurant, But I realized that with the amount that I would probably spend on Uber, I would just be easier and perhaps cheaper to eat at the hotel.
