They are really nice in this Starbucks! They really know their drinks and are very willing to make any changes for gluten and dairy. They help in a very kind way, and it is very much appreciated.
I come here every morning for my coffee and breakfast before catching the bus for work. The staff is always cheerful (much more than I could be at 5:30am) and friendly, my things are always made just the way I asked and very quickly, I'm greeted as I enter and greeted as I leave. For being my very first interaction with people, it's incredibly pleasant. Kudos to them! No complaints here!
UPDATE: After the store responded here, I returned after a couple of days for my coffee on the way to work as usual. Everything was fine. The staff member was normally pleasant ("Thank you," got "You're welcome"). The coffee was delicious as always. The service was just fine, too! The coffee stayed in the cup as I got in and out of the car -- not on my trousers.
UPDATE: On my way to work I get a coffee, put it in the car and take it out at work. This is the second day that it dripped on my trousers, having done nothing but pick it up. Either the lid's not on or it's too full or both. The other day they left out that little green plug and it was too full. What a mess!
They are too aloof to greet a customer who enters. Of course this is not always the case, but the tall young lady who makes the takeouts is really zombie-esque. She doesn't respond to hello or thank you. Where did she learn basic hospitality?
ORIGINAL REVIEW
These guys and gals are quick! I think that they must have the record for the shortest wait, though there frequently is a line.
It's a popular place, but it seems there are always a couple of tables available. This isn't true for say, the Starbucks near Costco Sodo.
Of course there is parking and it is kid friendly. Of course, they offer free WiFi.
This year I have downloaded a couple of Starbucks Christmas Playlists on Spotify -- good curating of standards and classical.
If you are in The North Admiral district, this easy-access Starbucks is worth a stop. If you have some time, the outdoor tables on the east side make a pleasant retreat.
We keep going back and going back for more.
