Similar to, but better than thans. The place is clean, the veggie pho is more flavorful and fresh tasting than thans, and the family that runs it is super nice!
100% improved. I first ate here right after they opened. Their Pho was SERIOUSLY bland, even worse than Than Brothers (if that's possible). No taste at all. I gave them benefit of doubt that it was growing pains. Tried it again and it's WAY, WAY, better. This is (IMHO) better than Pho Cyclo, and totally beats the crap outta Than Brothers. They even used to be cheaper than Than Brothers, but their prices have gone up significantly to match their local (overpriced) competition. (Note: Than Brothers is not their competition). The menu has also expanded to include some decidedly upscale Pho options like Filet Mignon Pho. The prices aren't as compelling here as they used to be, but the quality keeps getting even better. Thumbs up.
This place is fantastic. From the food to the service, everything is excellent. That previous guy probably confused it with pad thai or didn't know anything about pho because there's no such thing as 4 stars spicy in pho (however, if the sauce included in your take-out order is not enough, they have the spicy sriracha and sweet hoysin sauces that you could take much as you want, free of charge!). And as with most take-out orders, especially ones with soup, you're supposed to reheat it before eating.
