We went to the Town House tonight, steak was great, service was also outstanding. Will return! Have not been there since they moved. Sorry that we haven't!
I had the antipasto salad. It was good, but I LOVE pickled stuff. It had 10-12 olives, 10-12 pepprocinnis, pickled giadenera, pickled heritage tomatoes, a slab of feta (which is an extra sharp cheese) with a little lettuce and feta dressing. It was overwhelmingly pickled. It almost hurt to finish. I also ordered the beef tenderloin shish kabob, which was really lemony. Combined with the salad, it was too much tang. Every thing by its self was delicious, but I would not order it all together. The staff was more than attentive. They brought the kids each a bowl of applesauce out just because I got my salad out before they got their food. I would rate their food an 8 out of 10, and their service an 11 out of 10. You should eat here, but be careful about how you pair your food.
Great Dinner. The Town House Dinning Room is the most under rated eating establishment in Albuquerque. The food is delicious and the personal attention by Frank and his staff is the best. Don't be fooled by the reasonable prices. The food compares with any restaurant where you can pay three times the price. Frank has paid great attention to the wine list and has grown it to over 70 selections. Frank's knowledge of wine is as good as you will find except without the intimidation. The greek kabobs are our favorite but we have enjoyed the beef filet as well as the prime rib. Give them a try, you won't regret it.
