I stared going to Metzgers with my parents and grandparents in the 50’s..I have traveled all over our country as well as Europe and have yet to find another restaurant with the quality german cuisine as Metzgers
I have tried Sauerbraten at other restaurants as recommended on either the travel or food
channel..I was sorely disappointed
I HIGHLY recommend Metzgers..A 3rd generation family owned restaurant
I love this place, only place I know of where you can get a boot of beer!! Awesome food also.
I grew up on German food (my gandma's, Old German and Metzger's). My husband and I have been frequenting Metzger's more and more recently. The food is excellent. The German Potato salad, spatzen, german meat patties, red cabbage are some of our favorites and now a new favorite is the red cabbage rueben! They also have the best non-alcohol beer.
