We have been eating at Jaiya for over a decade now, and the experience has always been amazing. Tom Yum Soup is an amazing starter, we have been getting it every time we dine there. Another delicious starter is the papaya salad. For our main meal, we ordered Red Curry, Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai, and Panang Curry, which were all amazing. One tip is to ask them for either mild or medium spice level because the spicy level is incredibly spicy. Sadly, we heard that they are closing on January 1st, 2023. This made us very sad, but they gave us 2 plates as a souvenir. We are very sad that the restaurant is closing, so please visit before it closes. Overall, Jaiya has been an amazing restaurant for 45 years, since 1978!
I realized that I never posted my review. I came here about a year ago and back here again today. Sadly Jan 1st was their last day and glad I got to have it one last time. Pictures are from a year ago and from yesterday. Ordered the special sauce fish (red snapper), shrimp pad Thai, and seafood basil fried rice. Definitely coming back here for the pad Thai and the red snapper. It was so good.
Went there on dec 25 for dinner. We were greeted by a very nice and polite lady dressed in red for the Christmas theme, she showed us the table. They have plenty of vegetarian options. The food was really good, we specially liked the pad thai. The Panag curry was good but we were hoping to get a mix of veggies and tofu, we forgot to mention that while ordering so wouldn’t hold that against them. Overall we loved the dishes and had a good time here
