I am so happy I found this place. I was passing by one night and got curious and actually went in on a weekend at around 12:30am and they were still open.
I love the fact that you have to take off your shoes to go inside and the lovely tables in the ground which are so comfortable.
After my finding 3 weeks ago, I took a friend there on Friday night for dinner. We ordered the tuna for appetizer and the 6 kinds of meat for 2.
The meats were all great! no complaints at all. The sauces were also excellent.
Would def come back and recommend to friends!

If you mention Japanese barbecue in NYC, most people flock to Gyu-Kaku.,,,,,for a more authentic ambiance, I recommend trying Yakiniku West in the East Village. Japanese barbecue in general is always great option for groups to have a good time or for an intimate date night.y.
The food here is consistently excellent & well priced. I think it’s the perfect place for large groups & you’re guaranteed to have a great time. I cannot recommend Yakiniku West enough.
