There's lots of outdoor seating at Legend, either on the deck overlooking the river or on the other side of the building with large tables for bigger parties. Of course, it's about the beer and I enjoyed a pint of Imperial Brown this time. Our food included the Basket O' Brussels (fried brussel sprouts with garlic, feta cheese and bacon) as an appetizer. Great! And I don't like brussel sprouts! My companion's Southwest Burger (IPA onion ring, cheddar cheese, fresh jalapenos and Porter bbq sauce) proved filling and delicious while her side of German Potato Salad was a bit too mustardy. My Brew Burger (Brown Ale drunken cheese and applewood smoked bacon) fit the bill, too, though the cheese was a bit skimpy and my Collard Greens side was tasty but too salty. Prices are on the average to slightly lower than average for us and portions were adequate.
Had a great time at Legend! Went on a brew tour, the manager ...I believe his name was Jason did a fabulous job of explaining the different types of beer and answering all of our many questions about the brew process. Food was great beer was flowing and a good time was had by all :)
2nd time around. Very happy that I decided to give this place a 2nd shot. First experience I had eating here with my finance was mediocre at best. Beer was great, but the food was lacking. Decided to go again on a Friday afternoon with some friends and we could not have had a better experience. The restaurant and deck were packed but we were seated almost immediately. Beer was on point as usual and our food came out piping hot. I couldn't even finish my first beer before the waitress was setting down our appetizers. The great service combined with the outstanding view of the city made this place my new favorite after work spot.
