Sally Belle was around when I was a student at VCU over 40 years ago and I recall how delicious their sandwiches and cupcakes were. Now with their new location only 2 miles from my house I decided to stop by last week and place an order for two box lunches to take over to a friend who was recuperating from surgery. We both enjoyed the lunch... Chicken salad sandwich was delicious along with the lemon cupcake. It was great to see how busy they were with many employees from DMV coming for lunch.....they have a nice sitting area to have lunch.... I highly recommend Sally Belle's for a lunch treat......you won't be disappointed!!

Finally got to stop in at Sally Bell's during my trip from Florida. What a wonderful treat. My daughter & I got a box lunch with the most delicious chicken salad on a roll, potato salad, deviled egg, cheese straws & of course a yummy chocolate cupcake. We also brought cupcakes back to the family & everyone loved them. I can truly say it was really a treat! I'm from Richmond & now live in Jacksonville. My Mother & Grandmother always went to Sally Bell's for cupcakes & boxed lunches. It's a real tradition in Richmond & everyone should try it. I'm just sorry I didn't get enough cupcakes to bring back home to Florida! Yummy!

I remember as a small child what a true treat it would be to have a boxed lunch with an almond cupcake from Sally Bell’s!! Absolutely a wonderful place and a true RVA tradition.
