First time at this restaurant. We came with our 3 young boys. It was a busy Saturday at about 5:30 but we were seated within 10 minutes.
Their honey fried chicken was the best I've ever had anywhere, and I've eaten a lot of chicken! It was so tender and juicy, with the perfect amount of honey sweetness. It came with some mashed sweet potato that was just perfectly seasoned.
My husband had the fillet which he ordered medium rare, but it was a little more done than what he was expecting. It seemed more like medium well. Aside from that it was good, with very good potatoes. Maybe keep this in mind when ordering a steak from here.
My son had the cheese pizza. They didn't have any pepperoni, which was fine for him, but if your kid has to have pepperoni then they will be disappointed. It was pretty well done, with the cheese on top very dark-almost black. Good pizza though, as he finished it all. It was served on a flatbread.
My other son had corn dog bites with fries. A very generous portion for just $2.99.
My third son had a kids hamburger with fries, again, big portion. He ate it all which was amazing because I've only ever seen him finish a hamburger once before.
They have a really tasty strawberry lemonade that is worth the cost. It is homemade, like the lemonade.
The restaurant was very busy but we still got our food within 25 minutes of ordering. The warm bread cake out right away and was soft and served with real butter.
The service was a bit slow, probably due to the fact that every table was occupied. Yet they still were friendly and everything came out as ordered.
Did I mention kids 10 and under always eat free with a paid adult entree?
Would recommend this for a family, especially if you love southern American cooking!
My sister and I had lunch at O'Charley's and the meal was excellent. My daughter recommended this restaurant to us. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We had a very nice waitress who served us and the meal was piping hot. My sister and I love our food this way. We were not disappointed. I will try O'Charley's in other locations. Thanks for your excellent service!
AWESOME place to eat great service and great food.my only complaint is that the wine should have been in an ice bucket to keep it cold
